We recommend always referring to the item's care label for washing instructions or to reference the “Fabric and Care” tab on all product pages! Most of our tall clothing can be machine washed and can be put in the dryer on low heat and then pressed.
What are some essential washing tips?
- Machine wash with like colors
- Avoid using fabric softeners to ensure improved garment longevity
- Avoid contact with abrasive materials like zippers and Velcro
- For best results and extended garment lifespan, hang to dry or tumble dry low
- Expect most garments to shrink 1-3 % if tumble dried on low. Synthetic blends usually shrink less than this
How do I wash colors?
- Individually wash dark denim or bright-colored garments before wearing them
- Avoid washing bright-colored garments with anything light in color
- Maintain space around any colored garments while wet to avoid color transfer
How do I care for clothes made of natural fibers and naturally blended materials?
- Machine wash cold on low or delicate setting
- Avoid fabric softeners and abrasive fabrics/materials
- Lay flat to dry, or hang to dry to avoid shrinkage. If you prefer to tumble dry make sure to select the low setting and expect 1-3% shrinkage
Can I wash my outerwear?
- Make sure to fasten buckles, close zippers, and seal Velcro
- Machine wash cold, tumble dry low
- Use less detergent than usual to avoid residue buildup which can inhibit the water-repellent properties of your garment
